I’m Angela (she/they), a Montreal-based naturotherapist specializing in trauma-informed care. I’m glad you found your way here. Reaching out takes real strength, especially when life feels heavy.
Childhood trauma set the course for my early years, leading me as a pre-teen to drugs, alcohol, and other harmful coping habits. A severe back injury in the mid-90s added chronic pain and desire for opiates. For me, it's all connected…trauma leads to imbalance, which shows up as illness, including my C-PTSD and autoimmune disease. As Gabor Maté writes in When the Body Says No, “The body cannot lie. It will always tell the truth.” Now, nearly 10 years sober and managing as a neurodivergent person, I take compassionate and practical steps toward feeling whole.
I recognize that BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities face intersectional oppression and disproportionate trauma from systemic barriers. Financial access to care shouldn't add to those burdens. That's why I created my Somatic Solidarity Program, offering sliding-scale and free somatic therapy sessions for folks in these communities.
I firmly believe that healing is a journey we walk together. I am honored to offer a space where your challenges are acknowledged, your strengths are celebrated, and your innate capacity for growth is supported. Whether you are new to this type of work or have tried other methods before, I am here to walk alongside you on your path toward greater wellbeing.
Thank you for being here. I invite you to reach out if you’d like to learn more about my offerings or discuss how we might work together. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
